Oh Puddles, you know we will always love you - no matter what!
Martha is also a hoarder and a thief - we are not sure if there is a rehab for those particular problems.
We can certainly find a hound sanctuary that deals with drinking..........!!!!
Hope you don't have a sore head this weekend.

MOL Puddles!!!
I'm sure Your Girl doesn't mind sharing her stuffies with you as long as you don't DESTROY them.

The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. Good for you.
Happy Monday,

Now about all the stuffs at the top of the list... you gots those BAD... butt this thingy you call HOARDING.. That is not (repeat NOT a problem) that is a normal natural Dachshund Thingy. I'm thinkin' you are at the point in your recovery where you are heaping TONS of guilty thingys on yourself. Next you will be binge Eating and Purging Followed by... gasp.. the Neat Freak stage.
When you see all your stuffies and toys Lined up and color coordinated you will know what I'm talkin' about.
Take a big breath and then go out and Dig some hooooge holes in the yard. That is grrrreat therapy.

Mack said...

Nothing to be ashamed about! The more stuffies the better, I say!

Anonymous said...

Um, Puddles, I thinks you forgot something. You said you had "issues" but then you didn't list any! I thinks all those things you put there are among your best qualities and what makes you so much fun as a furend. Well, okay, the hoarding is an itsy bit weird. You're supposed to destuff stuffies. Not keep around looking all pristine. If you wants to send a few to me, I'll help you with the destuffing.

I think the key word here is "multitude."

Why worry about hoarding when that's just one of so many problems?

Face it wiener dog, you're a lost cause... and I'm barking that in the nicest possible way.

Sammy and Andy said...

Hey, Puddles, one is perfect!!!!!!!!!! And just what is wrong with hoarding????? We thought it was a status symbol!!!!!!!!

Fine, minx. You can keep the inter-galactic, neo-space paint gun you "borrowed".

And don't worry. I may be taking a spaceship full of women to the wedding, but I'll let you drive if you want.

Usually... the way to help a hoarder to recovery is to give the things that she has hoard away.. one by one...

urmmm.. one by one.. even the bed you are lying on.. hehehehehehe

Oh Puddles dear... yous are not a Hoarder.. its your hoomans fault for urmm.. loading all the stuffs to you and askings you to pose with them. Its really not yours fault girly.

Hey Puddles Duddles are not surprised that I have just one more thing to say today....
re: your comment you just left was too funny. Mom was just telling someone about the critters who have shared her life. She said that Toto, RIP one Might mini Doxie man, prepared her for life with cats. She told that person that Toto was a lot like a cat as in they both have SERIOUS need for attitude adjustments. MOL

That was a fun pawty for sure....shhhh did I tell you mom caught me sneaking in the house way after my catfew? She said I was confined to the house forever.
I had to snicker...behind her back..I mean seriously I'm a house cat. Me thinks she was partying hardy if she thinks that is punishment.

Nothing wrong with a few stuffies! When I first arrived, I used to take shoes and hide them. I still do sometimes just to shake things up and watch my mom run around the house like a crazy person looking for her shoes.

Aww, Puddles, don't feel bad! You're in good company. Lilac hoardes toys sometimes, too! It's not like you have a stash of man dogs locked up under the bed. You don't, do you?

OK, you have admitted that you have a problem, great. Now I suggest you send all your toys to me immediately so that you can begin your program of recovery.

Yeah, she collects those glass things but... well.. she puts da drinks in them so after a couple margaritas or wines, she won't remember what was there before... if you knows what I means. Uh oh.. she's coming this way! Gotta go!

You're not a hoarder until you have so many stuffies that you can't walk from your (stolen) bed to the door. Until then, you are just spoiled. ;-)

Oh my dogness...I LOL'd when I saw the hoarding picture and the "hang your head" picture too! I am still laughing because I see waaaaay too many dogs who have the hoarding disease and I think you and I should band together to help them all! Maybe a HOT-line? Or a HOT-DOG-LINE? I don't know which title to choose butt we've got to get the hot dogs together so we can help these hoarders find some peace and! I think you remember MAX the dachshund who has a HUGE pile of toys in his toybox and I think we need to stage an intervention with him as soon as possible! You can find MAX on my blog or you can walk the streets of Manchester to find him with his pawrents....I'm just sayin'.....Daisy

Oh dear! You need the CLEAN HOME team to fix you!!!!

You should do a yard sale so we can all come over for your toys! MUAHAHA

road-dog-tales said...

We agree with Minna K - you need a special closet for your toys. Like the one Mr. Big built Carrie for her shoes (SATC). We're not sure about all that rehab nonsense - we say embrace your hoarding. It might come in handy one. That's our mom's theory - and she's sticking to it!
