Hellos everybuddy!
Thank you so very much fur da sweet comments on my girl da other day.
It meant alot to me and mum and just warmed our hearts all up.
Ya'll is just da bestest.
Awhile back I won a contest overs at Tucker's. Okays, it wasn't a contest but since I has nevers won anything I am saying it was a contest cuz it just sounds betters and dis is my world so we're goin' withs dis story.
On withs MY story....
I gots me a super cool emergency fire thingamabob sticker in da mail....
I puts it on da door.
Let me biggify it fur ya.
Da foto lady says not to look at da dirty glass...but if you looks real close anyways you can see Albert hairs....hehehehe!
Nows what dis sticker basically means is dat if there is a fire then somebuddy betters come save our a$$es and like in a hurry...pronto...ASAP!
*(Sticker be from Build-a-Sign)
I tried to gets da foto lady to get a pikture of ME in da window but I's couldn't find my step stool.
I'm there but you just can't see me.
Now I has a question pertaining to dis fire stuff.
Are your leashes and collars readily available in case of a fire?
I don't think ours are.
Ours are put up so we can't see 'em. You knows cuz we goes all cracker dog if we can see 'em.
They is in my laundry bedroom in a basket on a shelf.
Which equals...NOT safe.
Thank You Tucker!
You loves me knows you do cuz you so concerned bouts my safety...hehehehe!
Peace Out,
Puddles...makin' some changes today

What a great blog post. I'm gonna get HH to put up one of those signs in the window of the condo. Don't know what a leash is... I'll have to investigate that. Thanks for the public service announcement.
Have a great day...
pawhugs, Max
They dont make those signs over here but I am looking at getting some made somehow for our home and for some of our friends with pets as I think they are a brilliant idea. I saw them first at my friends home in Houston so thank you puddles I will pull my finger out and try and get some made asap

That a great sticker. We actually do have one, but my mama keeps forgetting (too lazy) to put it up. My leash is by the back door. However, the carriers for the cats are in the basement and should be moved. I tend to follow my mom wherever she goes so if she said, fire I would probably follow her right out the door or window. Those pesky cats are the unpredictable ones!
Your pal, Pip
Awesome post Puddles! Thanks for informing us all about this sticker thingy!!!
Two questions;
1.How did you learn to do those nifty words and arrows on your fotos (cuz I am thinking those words are not hanging outin the air in reallife, huh?)
2. Changing? (Da Puddles is not going thru menopaws?)
What a great sticker Puddles! We have one on our front window but I have to get a new one because it is all worn out and you can barely read it anymore!
Our leashes are downstairs hanging by the door...but if the fire was down there and we had to go out upstairs we would be screwed!
We has one of dos dere sticky tings in our window but it got faded from da sun. Mom needs to put up a new one. Tanks for reminding me to remind hers to do dat. Also....are dos PUDDLES NOSE PRINTS on da window?
MOL Puddles...you are for sure a 'cracker dog'...because you crack us up every single day!!! I wanted to tell you not to worry about no money no beers....girlfriend there are other ways for a Diva Doxie and a Diva kitty to get beer...wink wink wink!! Puddles good luck with the changes.
Mom here: fires are my biggest fear. Cats run and hide at the least shrill noise and worst of all they don't come when called unless there is fresh smelly canned food involved. This worries me. I have Madi's carrier right where I can get it but I'd have to get her first. I've heard of cats being found in the tiniest places where there was just enough air...
Madi and Mom
The fire dept. has those grrreat thingys fur two legger PUPS.. and they are grrrrreat. I am very much glad that YOU and Whitney and Albert are now SAFE... just in case.
I love your Snot Smears on the window.
That's a great sticker - I need to find one too! It might also keep burglars away (so a photo of a big GSD might work better than a photo of sweet you, Puddles).
Our local fire department didn't have any ventilating equipment to help pets suffering from smoke inhalation so our community raised money for them to buy it. Now, they have three sizes for all sized pets and can help them much more!
That's a furry cool prize there!! Moms and Dad has got one on our door too! We think it overwhelms the emergency workers, when they see 8 dogs, 9 cats, and lizards!! HEHEHE!!
Woofs and Kisses!
The Fiesty Three
Tucker's "contest" may have done you some good, just in case. One time at when I lived at school there was a fire 2 houses down from us and a poor kitty was in the basement. Some other kitties found their human and were waiting outside in their carrier. Mom got my stuff all ready just in case because it was super windy. But luckily the firemens got the fire out. Mom says those signs could mean life and death for an animal. And she is going to look for some around here.
Good info Puddles, we got stickers in our windows too...but we don't have leashes!
Hey there Guv'nor Puddles - Shiloh'n Shasta here. We likez your sticker - our mom haz one tu only it iz difrent but kinda sez the same thin'. Just 'nuther way fer momz tu show their love fer us by lettin'peeplez no we live there tu an'tu watch out fer us.
We r gonna be watchin'fer your changez - hope they iz good onez. Our mom wantz tu change stuff a little tu on our bloggy - add sum pagez an'may-b sum music.
Shiloh'n Shasta
PeeS - what happened tu your snow? What we had wuz goin'away but then yestaday we herd that weather guy say we gotz 'nuther 8.7 inches - yep, that'z what wuz there when we went outside.
I is glad you gots your sticker. When Momma was taking the picture of me in the window she had to wash all the drools and nose prints off first. So that bloggie peoples would think she is good at housework.
I is surprised you put 0 on the kitteh count. Didn't you know that my kitteh Vader was coming to stay wif you this weekend? I is recycling him again to you. He's arriving by train.
woof - Tucker
You really got our old mom thinking! That is such an important question (Purty girl!)
Hehe I love it when you're ear flips up like in the first picture... makes you so super cute! You're super cute always, but that just adds an extra flare :-)
-Corbin
This is a very good sign... important too... cos in case of fire... firemen sure don't know how many furries are in there... wonderful idea :)
good luck with your changes.. i hope they don't include abstaining from beers and cheetos :D
woofs n licks,
Dommy
I likes that you have a 0 where da cats are. I'm just sayin.
Oh yeah and dat other thing is pretty good too...my mom has our leashes by the back door, but we won't run away if we get outs da house. soo they wouldn't even need them...
dat and I prolly would bite someone puttin a leash on me... dare are some scary peeples out there.
Tex
That is a great sticker for all pet owners to have. We have something similar on our window too. Because of the risk of tornadoes where we live, Mom always has our leashes and collars in a special place so she can grab them quickly if we had to go to the basement. That's because she doesn't think we would go down in that scary place on our own. But it is also a good way for her to have them if we had a fire too. Great post, Puddles.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
My mommy has a sign kinda of like that in your house but it says 1 dog, 4 cats sound a bit uneven if you ask me, but 3 of the 4 cats are my friends
We have one of those stickers too, but it's not up in the window...how bad is that!? I have a leash for Riley upstairs and a leash downstairs, ready to grab in case of emergency. Now Chloe's leash...who knows where that is. It's up to Grandma and Grandpa to get her out of the house because I've got my hands full with Riley. Guess we should get Chloe's leash ready too, huh?
Too funny about you couldn't find your step stool so we couldn't see you in the window!! :)
Elyse and Riley
What a good idea! Great post Puddles! Everyone should have one of those stickers, thanks for the info
Lotsa Licks
Casper Bear
That is such a scary thought about being caught in a fire. Thank you for reminding everyone to be careful!
I am sure that if there is a fire at your house, the firemen will immediately be drawn to your cuteness and pull you to safety first! Just to be safe though, maybe you shouldn't smoke while you're drinking that beer or moonshine of yours!
We have our leashes by the back door, and also some in the bedroom. That way if we have to make for the basement for a tornado or just run out of any door or window because of a fire, we can all get out together quickly.
Bunny
What a wonderful sticker!!!
Mama has both of our PTUs where she can grab them in a hurry.......probably her biggest trial will be getting us into them!!!!!!
Love to you and yours, darlin' Puddles.
We're laughing in case you really have cats and you put ZERO for the cats!
We don't wear clothes around the house. Our stuff is on the spa AND our back door is always open 'cause SHE's scared of fire and stuff. (Not burglars 'cause we don't have anything worth taking.)
Great idea, though.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Us again. Just wanted to say we're sure you WOULD have won if it had been a contest.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Thank you, Miss Puddles! I told Beth to get on this right away! This needs to be done for everyone with pets. Thank you, my friend!
Hello there! We feel like we know you from other blogs but have never introduced ourselved. Today is the day. I am Kitty (just a name, not a cat), and my pug sis is Coco.
Mom says we are also cracker dogs about the leash. Coco bounces around so much when she sees it I am not sure we could get it on her in such a case. Ours are kept in the kitchen. Guess we gotta practice. We def. need one of those signs, but with a small dog, not a Dane!
Kitty
That is a very much awesome sticker, Puddles. But I think maybe you should add your picture to it and say something like, "Save this one first." You know, just to be on the safe side.
Our leashes are by our front door. Mom says we need to gets one of those fire ladder things cuz our bedrooms are on the second floor and mom would hate to have to throw us all out the window. Course, if she threw Cap'n Ripley first, we'd all have something soft to land on. BOL! Uh, don't tell him I said that.
Wiggles & Wags,
mayzie
Our Dad got us one of dem signs two on our front wyndoh. Gotta let dem hoomans knoos dat der if 5 furries dat lives here.
purrin

Heeeheeeeee........here be Comment number 2! I gotta keep you on your toes, ya know!
Thank you fur clarifying da "change" part of todays post....butt, I am looking closer at your sign, and it looks like they should save a dog that looks like Mayzie....or maybe like Maggie Mae. Do you think you should cover ups the bottom of that dogs legs...so they know what they are looking fur???
EXCUSE ME!!! ZERO CATS?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU LADY?? Jill says, "Oh..it's ON lady!"
Our leashes hang on the kitchen chair which is located right next to the back door! We need to get a sticker like yours, Puddles!
Love ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
We have no idea about the leashes as we don't use them. Meowm usually has one of our carriers nearby so hopefully if a Fireperson ever need to rescue us they could wrangle us in there.
We don't have one of those stickers, we want to get one, but we don't want to advertise to our apartment complex that we there are 2 of us rather than the one Meowm pays for. Guess Meowm better get Orion registered, pay the deposit (gulp, $300) and the extra $25 to $30 a month for rent. That rent part is so silly, cause she doesn't rent us, she owns us!!! Meowm wonders if people with children have to pay an extra deposit and rent money for them.
I gots a fire sticker from Tucker too, but no my mom person has not put it up yet & no we don't have leashes available. Oh Puddles, you are smart!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar

Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
We have one that Mom printed out with our pictures on it that says "in case of emergency please rescue our TWO Dachshunds." We have our leashed and harnesses ready to go in the foyer dresser thingy. That way they can grab 'em and go... but Mom says she'll probably just grab us and run like the wind if something happened. Knowing Mom she'd panic and not know what to do! haha! (Let's hope Dad is home!)
~Milly and Shelby
That's a great sticker for your door. Great post!! We have a sticker on the front and back door but it doesn't look as good as yours! We probably need new ones! Lots of love, Holly and mom
Those signs are very important to save a purrty girl
Benny & Lily

Hello Cutie Pie ♥
Ha haaa… “biggify” you are sooo funny :o)))
We got the sticker on our door and also our alarm system is connected to the fire department with the smoke detector (God forbid there is a fire).
That was sooo nice of Tucker to send you one too! Wow! That guy is HUGE!!! On top of being Handsome…
Smooches,
Neeko :o)
Thank you for the excellent PSA, Puddles! We have those signs, too. Most impawtant. We don't think the firemens would waste any time looking for leashes, in the unlikely event you required rescuing, so don't worry too much about their being stored away. They'd probably just stuff a doxie under each arm and run out of the house and hand you to your pawrents. So your pawrents might want to keep spare leashes in your car or barn or something. Mama always has two spare leashes in our vehicle. More useful if the vehicle isn't in an attached garage, of course, which ours isn't on account of the attached garage is used for "storage."
Jed & Abby
As soon as I read that we were supposed to have a fire emergency sticker on our door I ran downstairs to check our door and guess what? There's not a sticker in sight! WTF? Do our parents care if there's the 3 of us in the house in case of fire or are we supposed to fend for ourselves? I've gotta have a talk with mom and dad. Thanks for pointing out that our parents aren't concerned about us...or are they?
Love, Daisy
