Hellos...anybuddy out theres?

(yep, mum tooks a hi-ate-us with out consulting me)
Soooooooo...da Puddles NOT happies!
I missed Pip's Superhero party!!!!!
"Go away mum...I is mad at you!"

Grab a seat and I tells ya'll aaaaaaall bouts it!
Now ya'll knows I NEVER EVERS miss a party, especially a party hosted by Pip cuz he is one of my dearest furiends...nor do I miss a party when beer is envolved.
But...OMD...I did!
SHOCKING!

It was ALL my mum's fault!
Dam her!
And what a lame excuse hers had.
You sees, my mum's back don't work likes it should and hers claimed said it was on da fritz and her was in too much pain to blog...said da pain was makin' hers sick to her tummy...whatevers.
(hers was around 21 when hers found out her had degenrative disc disease, it effects 3 of her discs along with a bulging disc and calcium deposits and yada yada yada)

Let's just remembers, not one time did her ask ME permission NOT to blog.
So dat is why I missed one of da bestest parties evers and then I missed doing a post fur Frankie's birfday so I could embarrass da poop outta him! I haves to gets me a new hooman dat can keeps up withs all my important stuffs...or maybes a back transplant furs my mum.

"I not talkin' to you FUREVERS mum!"

And I showed hers....

Oh and don't gives her any symapathies cuz her DID make me miss important stuffs.

So I will just haves to sit heres and stare at da foto of me and Mayzie since I was unables to attend da party.
(Am I rubbin' it in enuffs mum?)

Oh and Happy Wednesday...hehehe!
I thinks I needs a beer nows.

Peace Out,
Puddles...withs da broken, lame mum dat made it impossible to attend Pip's Party.

The nerve! Poor Miss Puddles to be blog deprived due to alleged agony in mom's backsides. I sure hope that she recovers soon and attends to her duties.

We sure did miss you. Tank and I stayed up ALL night waiting for you to arrive. We passed out, but then Miss Asta made espresso to wake us up and we were FLYING!

The back thing is not fun. My mom's has gone out a couple of times so she understands.

We will just have to drink extra beer and eat more cheeseburgers at the picnic in a few weeks to make up for lost time.

Oh dear, poor Puddles, your life is ruined now. Want me to bring over some Cheetos to help you feel better? I do hope your Mom is on the mend by now though. Love, Billy

You and Gracie would get along great, Puddles. She thinks that everything I do is to make her life miserable as well. You're poor Mum! Well at least she got your picture in on time... She had a good excuse for not being at the party, now you go tell her your sorry... Puddles!! go tell her... can you say 'sorry, mum'?
You're pictures made me laugh. What an attitude. If you didn't look so different I'd swear you were Gracie's sister.

MOL Puddles once again you have succeeded in making mom's eyes leak...maybe we should trade our Moms in for newer models. Your pictures certainly look like you were 200% disgusted.

Dear Mom
We are so sorry you were in so much discomfort last week. We thought you were having blogger problems. I have some minor back issues too, nothing like you. So I know how they can pop up for no reason and make you feel bad all over.

Now fur your mom. Sooooo sorry that her has the Bad Back.. VERY BAD Back. You should have her lay on the floor and then YOU could Romp & Stomp around on her back and THAT would make it feel
TREE Mend Us. Then have Albert and Whitney LAY on her back and add their long furred HEAT to finish the CURE!! It could be considered a HOME E OH PAWthic TREATment!!!
PLUS.. it would just add to her shame and stuffs fur causin you to miss the pawty. Add to the PRESSure and all. I'm just sayin.
Well, I'm glad that you are back and that your mom's BACK is better.

Aww, you look so sad! And P.O.ed!! We do feel bad for Mum though...my sister (Riley's Aunt Baddy) has a degenerative disc and has had surgery on it, but still gets pain in that area.

Okay, enough feeling bad for Mum.......POOR PUDDLES!!!! You missed out on the super duper superhero party! All the pictures made us crack up! I bet you didn't know that Riley was really a blonde!

I did see a couple of Doxies at the dog show, but they were in crates, so I couldn't get a good picture. We went on the first day of the show, and apparently not all the breeds were showing that first day. Cattle Dogs weren't showing that day so I didn't see any of them either. :( Saving the best for last (Doxies and ACDs), I suppose!!

I think I've said everything in one (loooong) comment. You know I always have to leave two comments for some unknown, strange reason...! We shall seeeeee!

Oh, gosh - what's UP with the MOMS in blogville this weekend? Our Mom went to visit her sister and then had the nerve to come home puking all over the place for like a day! So we missed all the fun, too!

We're so sorry about your Mom's back, though. Dad has the back stuff sometimes too so he would empathize. However, we understand why you're giving her the cold shoulder!

You were there in spirit. LOVED your costume. It was one of my very favourites.

I'm sure your mum didn't do it on purpose. We have to make allowances for these feeble humans. They're just not made of strong stuff like us.

I do hope she feels a bit better soon.

Love and licks, Winnie.

Well, at least your mom has a good excuse for making you miss the pawty! Mine claimed it was because we had company and internet troubles but I'm not buying that AT ALL! Want to split the cost of an ad for new blogging two-leggers??

PeeS - is your mom's back feeling better after resting it?

Pees - our mom has back troubles too. She visits the chiropractor at least once a week. So she can sympathize. Her back has been acting up for the last month.

Mom and I wondered where you had been. Perhaps you could advertise for a new Mom or a new back? I'm think about advertising for a master after reading everyone's peeps on parade posts. Masters seem to be treat suppliers!

Now Puddles, you know good and well what you should have done is allowed us southern women to come over and help out... you know how it goes.
*Doorbell rings*
Dixie: We brought you over some food, cause we can't have y'all going without as your momma is down.
*Dixie would look around, using her supreme southern photographic memory to record every dust bunny, every book out of order, every single dog hair not picked up*

Then afterward, Dixie would go home and call up every woman in the Junior Dachshund League to let them know how much help y'all need because of momma being down. Next thing you know, you've got a mess of people over, bringing food (and beer), keeping y'all company, and helping out with the little things.

Gurl you gotta let your southern out.. before you know it y'all will have help, and lots of good noms, and won't need momma to do anything but lie back on the sofa and rest.

Dixie will bring you her best Sunday go to Meeting outfit and do your hair... cause we can't have you looking a hot mess while opening the door up for all those JDL ladies and their liquid refreshment :)
-grins-

Feel better, darlin... Just rest up! We will be here when you get back!

Amber-Mae said...

Maybe you need to put a remote collar on her so next time, if she ever decides to disobey your orders again, you can correct her with it. Just a suggestion.

Hi Ms.P
We sure hope your moms is up and feeling better.

Both of us know you were there taking care of her, like she takes care of you, when you get the sickies. Did you call the vet to see if they could give her a shot or some medicines?

Don't hold a grudge for too very long. Moms are sensitive to those kinds of things.

Have a great day and it's nice to have you back.

Seriously? No field day or festivals? That totally sucks. The field day at my boy's school was pretty lame, but we provided snacks and they had to pay for pop, so it was ok... but to make up for their being so stingy, I made my extra potent double chocolate cupcakes that were piled 3 inches high with homemade (2 pounds of confectionery sugar) icing... I am pretty sure that they wish they had not asked for the parents to provide snacks after all 90 million of them were running round like chickens with their heads cut off from the sugar buzz :) Momma's just a wee bit diabolical that way... I think she'd make a good dachshund.
My boy will spend the first few days of summer vacation sleeping, cause he is a boy and they apparently have dachshund sleeping DNA in them too... then he will want to spend the rest of the summer in the pool trying to get as dark as Dixie's fur, or Milo's if the sun is really hot.

Don't you all play cornhole down there, too? That was part of the evening's activities, but I hate to even talk about it because of the name... just sounds like it has an "R" rating doesn't it?

Glad we could help your momma laugh. Ofc I forgot to mention that AFTER the JDL ladies left the phone lines would be buzzing with them talking all about everything. :)

Ok, I am off to get my work done and get my boy so I can go do more work (le sigh)

Maybe you could trade your Mom in for a model with fewer miles and/or less body damage? Or maybe she could get an extra job so she could hire you a proper assistant. (Dad has a wonky back, but you notice he's not the one helping us with the blogging!)

Puddles, if you could put up with MY mom and her constant flashy beast obsession, you could come here and stay! We'd have grand times, and since Greyhounds like to be with their own company, you'd be much happier here with us. I even have some martingale collars that would fit you, and that place I get my fantastic coats from has a line made for doxies, I mean, vertically challenged Greyhounds! You'd be as stylish as me!

Hop on that train that runs behind your house and come on up!

Hey, be nice to your mom! I didn't know that she and I have the same disease. I, too, was diagnosed when I was around 21. Now, I have 7 vertebrae fused together, 4 in my neck and 3 in my lower back.

So, Puddles, I can verify that there are days when a person's back can hurt so much that they can't blog. What they need is a nice understanding dog who snuggles with them. Can you do that?

I sound awfully tough... but you can drink beer on those snuggling days!
