I killed a SQUIRREL!

(Not fur Remington's eyes)

I killed me a SQUIRREL yesterday!
BOOOOOYAH!
I did, I really did!
( I thought it would make an awesome Momma's Day present to be honest)

Let me tells ya'll all bouts it cuz I am once again super excited cuz I nevers thought it would be done!

Mum was right behind when we was goin' outside and I took off like a streak of lightin' and then....
BAM, I gots me a squirrel and mum didn't EVEN see it happen until My Girl started yellin'.
Hehehehehehe...silly mum.
By da way, I killed it instantly so he felt no pain, or at least I don't think so.
So mum came to see what I had and her and da girl thought I had a bird...sorry, but da Puddles don't do birds.
Mum realized it was a squirrel and she was all like " Aaaaaaaaack....HOLY COW, I can't believe you actually caught a squirrel"...then her started yellin' fur my dad cuz he was home.
Dad comes out and brudder and sissy came out too so then mum had to keeps them away and theres I sat withs my trophy sayin' NEENER, NEENER, NEENER(they were SOOOOOO jealous!)

Da worstest part was dat Dad wouldn't let me gets no pictures of my furst squirrel!
"Just one little foto dad?!?!"

He was NOT happy withs me but, I tries to tell him dat it's what I was genetically programmed to do.
Sorry, but my breed hasn't evolved dat much.
I'm starting to think mum is way cooler than my dad nows.

Dang, I am still in complete shock dat I has gotten me a chipmunk AND nows a SQUIRREL in one week.
I'm on a roll!

Course, I is prolly banned from da yard now without supervision cuz mum is kinda concerned bouts da ground hogs.

RIP Mr. Squirrel
Peace Out,
Puddles
One more thing, ya'll can blame dis all on Miss Shelby, her started it all...bwhahahaha!

OMC Puddles you have turned in to a lean, mean attack machine. What kind of vitamins do you take?
Lets break this down for Dad!!
1. they are in YOUR yard uninvited
2. you are still a young active lady Doxie
3. and it is in your DNA just like my Mom has a special chocolate DNA she can't help that she craves chocolate and says she would 'kill' for it. But thankfully she hasn't had to do that.

Mom has a special post just for you later this week.

CONGRATULATIONS GIRRRRL.

Next you are gonna Grab a Groundhog... and then ...
Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My.

I can NOT believe that you didn't get to have it stuffied and mounted to hang on the wall. It would have looked GRRRRREAT in the Governor's Mansion!!!

You ROCK girrrl!!!

Way to go Puddles! You must be super fast to catch a squirrel! We have tried to catch them before but they are so much faster and they just run up the tree and laugh at us!
You are our hero Puddles!

ShellePenn said...

So all that practicing with the soccer ball has helped you become the Rodent Terminator huh?

I think you should have grilled that up too! Perhaps you can explain to your Dad that you are not crazy about the kibble and are just supplementing your diet with real meat?

I can't even let Riley see this!! She would be oh-so-jealous!! She's tried for 2 years to kill a squirrel with no luck.

Congratulations on your big accomplishment! That's amazing! I guess you're a big game hunter (or huntress) now! Just remember, once you get even more famous than you already are, that we knew you way back when, okay?

The funny thing is that yesterday when I left the Mother's Day greeting for your Mum (oh, and your Dad sounds like a total drag, sorry!), I almost mentioned something about you going to catch/kill her a nice present in the back yard. And then I wake up this morning and read this!! Too cool.

Thanks for your very kind words on my blog, they mean a lot to me!!! :)

First a chipmunk, now a squirrel - what's next ...a BEAR? You are definitely on a roll. Just don't mistake me for a groundhog or a possum (I move slow) if I happen to pass through your yard on the way to the bar.

Your pal, PIp

A Squirrel and a chipmunk? In one week? We can't tell our mom cuz she might ban us from your bloggie... you're turning into a mass murderer!

Bahahaha! Sounds like your Dad and my Mom could be friends! hahah! No photos of the squirrel. Man! That stinks! How about this- know how Mom put it by the garage (cause she is dumb and thought it would come back to life) well, it is GONE. It disappeared. BUT, it was dead. So, we have a dead squirrel THIEF!! Crazy, huh?

OMD, Puddles! That is the most amazing thing I've ever heard. You know, that is exactly what I wanted to give my Moms for Mother's Day. I swear I was thinking about it the other day. The only problem was that I've never actually caught a squirrel. Came close a few times, but I'm told that only counts in horseshoes, whatever that means. You are amazing and our heroine, furever and ever. Oh, and totally congrats, too!

OMD, OMD, OMD!!! Miss Puddles, you didn't! We are most impressed with your huntress-skilz, gurl!! We were telling Tank, yesterday while we were writing a nice comment on the Woo's blog, two of those little freakazoids (that's right - 2!!) were playing right in front of our front window!! Of course we couldn't go out front, so we had to bark and whine and jump on furniture and bang into the window. We HATE them. Ruby was so upset she had to stand on the arm of the couch!! GGrrrrrrrr! Gurl, you are our hunting hero!
A most impressive achievement!

Yup, you can't stop a doxie when they are on a hunt. Lucky enough for most furries, they have shoooort legs so they are not all that fast. But you know that around here doxies are used to hunt wild boar, moose and deer so maybe Puddles will try to upgrade ;)
