One of da Most Bestet Times of Da Year

Hellos there furiends, it's me Puddles fur a used-to-be-triweekly-blog-but-nows-a-monoweekly-post cuz-somebuddy-can't-gets-there-act-togedders-post. Maybe I should say Somebuddy can't get their elbow to behaves right.

Okays nows dat I gotted dat out of da way I just has to tells everybuddy dat I
absolutely LOOOOOOOVE dis time of da year. Yep, I do.
Not cuz of da cold air or da purty changing leaves.

It's cuz it be...
PEE-CAN season.
Pee-can season is da most bestest time of da year.
And I loves me some pee-cans...and I does make a mean Pee-can pie by da way.
So while da KERAZY LADY was attemptin' to put up da freakin' Christmas
tree left-handed (nows repeat afters me... STOOPID!)I was feastin' on me some pee-cans.

I is gonna takes you on a step by step journey on hows I does it.
First, I finds me a peecan...preferably one dat a squirrel hasn't nibbled on cuz dat would just be nasty.
I not want no squirrel cooties.

Then I pops it in my so.

Sometimes I has to readjust me pee-can to fit in my mouf though.

 And then I goes...

And then most of da time I gets da pee-can stucked in my teefs...
...and then I has to wait fur da Kerazy Lady to come gets it unstucked.
She be all havin' her hands in my mouf...shudder.

Then I goes inside and throws 'em all up, takes a nap,
wake up, make fun of da kerazy lady,
and go back outside and does it ALL overs again.

Uh, nows I has to go be weighed cuz I has gotten kinda voluptuous from my pee-cans.

Dis message has been brought to you by...
Puddles Pee-Can Pies...try one today.

Peacans are my MOM's favorite. She said if you would put her up for a few days she would help you out with the peacans. She would gather and crack them open (don't worry no MOM cooties, she would use some sort of cracker thingy) and then she would feed them to you. The bonus (at least I thin so) is I would come along with her and we could sit back with a bag of Cheetos and a case of beer and watch my MOM work. Everyone WINS!! I do hope your mom;s elbow gets better, if for nothing else so I can see you more. BUT.... I do hvae that photo of you on the entertainment center that I can look at any time I want. I am doing it right now as a matter of fact.

Wow, a couple of those pictures had me scared. I thought the kerazy lady might have to give you that gut squeeze and make the pee-can pop out of your throat. I should have known not to doubt an expert pee-can cruncher like you, but I got a little scared. I say a little diet after pee-can season is worth it. Enjoy them while you can.

Marg said...

Oh Puddles, you have one great assistant even is she has a bad elbow and can't get on here much. It is so much fun when you are here. Thanks for the great laugh this morning. Hope the Mom's elbow feels better really soon. We miss you. Take care.

Be careful harvesting those pee-cans. We wouldn't want you to get any stucked in your throat for too long.

I'm thinking it would be awfully delicious to try a pee-can, or a pie! We don't have any of them here, but Morgan and I have been enjoying eating Mom's almonds lately. Do you think you could send us a few pee-cans to sample?

P.S. I have missed you like crazy!

Luckily for us we don't have peecans lying around on the ground... we aren't fans of the barfing!

PEE CAN Season OH how WELL we remember your LOVE fur those little TREE GEMS. Fur your NEW FANS... you should RE POST the time that you YACKED UP the Pee Can WORM fur your Mom. We all LOVED that one.
AND while you are RE POSTING you should FUR SURE put up the Post where YOU made the Pee Can PIE. My mom went all Cracker Dawg CRAZY over THAT Post.
PEE CANS... have become OUR Favorite Nuts Too... Next to YOU that is.

Thank you very much for your Most Instructional postie abouts how to eat PEE-CANS. They looks dee-lish. My favoritest part was abouts throwin' them back up after you get back inside cuz that's what I do when I eat grass. But to really pawfect your technique, you might wanna see if you can wait until abouts 2 in the morning and then wake your mom up with your hacking. That's the BEST!

Wiggles & Wags,

PeeS. I'm sorry abouts your assistant's elbow. That can't be fun for her PLUS it means less posties for you. Sigh.

Excellent form!!! We have a Pee-can tree but the silly squirrels grab all of ours!

The Websters said...

Well, maybe you can set up a squirrel trap with some pecans and then you can get the real deal -- squirrel meat.

I'd like to try some of your pecan pie. Let me know if you need my address to send one in the mail.

Also, it is completely unacceptable to only post once a week. I need my Puddles fix tri-weekly. Thank-you-very-much.

Also, tell your mom it is far to early to be worried about the Christmas Tree.

Bassetmomma said...

Well Puddles, those pee-cans sound scrumptious! Okay, maybe not after you've thrown them up and maybe not when they're in your mouth. Okay, I take it bake they don't sound scrumptious at all now! But your pie sure does! :)

Hey Puddles, We have walnuts like your pecans. I learned that the black walnuts are poisonous but we have the golden ones and I do just what you do, except they don't get stuck in my teeth like they do for you.
I just pop em open, then eat the nice meaty stuff in the middle. And guess what, I gain weight around this time of year too.
My Vickie had not put that together until she read your post. Now she figures, I have a free food day for a month.

Girlfriend next year you might want to get a cootie shot before pee-can season. Mom told me my sis and her friends had a ritual every year before school started. They gave each other the cootie shot to protect them from boy cooties!!Your mom is the age of my sis I bet she knows all about it.

You make a circle on your arm while singing "circle, circle, dot dot
now you've got the cootie shot!"

Samson's Mommy: I forgot to mention last time that I really, really hope that your mommy gets better soon. So, I know it hurts and I hope you are getting the best care and that you do take care. At least I know that living with Puddles must cheer you up no end.

Goodness Pudds. That's fierce. Your teeth are SO strong! I don't think I've ever seen a dog crack nuts. So when you say you make a mean peecan pie...what exactly do you mean? The Typist is having *uhm* visions.

Okay! So I'm really worried about your mama now. It's been a long while since her elbow got bad and if she's trying to put up the Christmas tree with one arm, it must mean she can't move the other at all! AT ALL! That sux big time. Please give her a hug for me. Sending best wishes for A Good Outcome and SOON! X

Hahaha! Oh Puddles.. I loved these pictures of you enjoying your Pee Cans. You are so funny! I don't know why, but I especially liked the part of this post where you said you go inside and throw up. Now why would I find that to be funny? Maybe it's because it does a heart good to know that I'm not the only dog owner that has to put up with such stuff. Or maybe it's just the way you said it. Whatever the case may be... I always leave your blog smiling! I LOVE YOU PUDDLES!

Careful, Puddles! Jed cracked a tooth eating nuts - or acorns, the jury is out on that one - and had to have a root canal. Hasn't stopped him from eating nuts & acorns, but now mama yells at him if she catches him. Anyhow, you wouldn't enjoy a root canal.

So sorry your mama is having such bad elbow owies. Mama still has back shoulder & neck owies and we're not getting to comment nearly enough on our friends' blogs as a result. Phooey.

Hey, wait a minute. Putting up the Christmas tree left-handed, because of a trick arm is not "STOOPID"!! I decorated my bedroom last Thanksgiving with only one working leg!! Yep!! Then, I spent the remainder of that holiday perched firmly on my butt!! True story!! ;)
Puddles. Sigh.... May I tell you something? Please to not take it as judgment. I think that you have an addiction to Pee-cans!! The signs are obvious. You ingest the pee-cans. Then vomit them. Just to.... Do it all over again? You need help, my Friend.... ;op
